Some posters advertise a destination.
Others sell a feeling.
Our La Côte d’Azur print was designed to do the latter.
Inspired by the golden age of French Riviera travel posters, this piece captures the timeless romance of the Mediterranean coast. A woman sits quietly above the sea, watching sailboats drift through the bay while terracotta rooftops climb the hillside below. There is no rush, no itinerary, and nowhere she needs to be.
That idea is at the heart of the poster.
Above the scene, the words "Soleil. Mer. Évasion." translate simply to "Sun. Sea. Escape." Three words that have drawn travelers to the Côte d’Azur for generations.
But the line that matters most sits at the bottom:
"Prenez le temps. Il vous appartient."
Translated literally, it means:
"Take your time. It belongs to you."
In a world obsessed with schedules, notifications, and productivity, the phrase feels almost rebellious. It reminds us that time is not something to be chased. Sometimes it is something to be enjoyed.
The artwork itself draws inspiration from classic European travel advertising of the 1920s through 1960s, when posters were painted by hand and designed to transport viewers somewhere beautiful long before they ever boarded a train or ship. The soft coastal palette, elegant typography, and simplified forms all pay tribute to that era while feeling at home in a modern interior.
Whether you've visited the French Riviera or simply dream about it, this print is meant to bring a small piece of that atmosphere into your space.
A reminder to slow down.
To look out toward the horizon.
And to remember that the best moments are often the ones that aren't scheduled at all.
La Côte d’Azur. Sun. Sea. Escape.
Take your time. It belongs to you.
